I’m a self thaught artist from Lugano, Switzerland, born in 1985, with roots in CH, DE, CN, RU, USA, Africa and the Caribbean.
My artistic journey began at home, as the son of a painter and a photographer. Thus, between the darkroom and the studio with my father's oil paintings, i have always been exposed to this world. The path that characterizes and shapes me also depends on the multitude of experiences i have accumulated so far. I was part of the skateboarding culture for many years, giving me the opportunity to travel to countless cities across Europe, meet people, participate in competitions, receive sponsorships, and learn the basics of videomaking, photography, and graphic design.
I then worked for one of the largest agencies in the world in the fashion industry in Milan, experiencing the fast-paced nature of that sector and confronting issues of beauty and external aesthetics. I later changed paths and became an activity coordinator in nursing homes for the elderly, one of the most enriching jobs I've had, where I could see how our attitude shapes us in the final stage of our earthly life. Part of my empathy certainly comes from my upbringing at home, the Steiner school, and particularly from my experience with the elderly.
My website is multifaceted; here, I create original works, design clothes, and create jewelry and objects, with no limits to imagination. It's difficult to define me due to my constant state of exploring languages and materials. I consider myself an artist somewhat outside academic standards. I've participated in many public and private events where I do portraits on postcards for the audience or live painting involving those present.
In recent years, I have had the fortune of being invited several times to Hangzhou, China, where I could get to know and explore Chinese culture and hold a solo exhibition. Conscious traveling is perhaps one of the most enriching experiences and one of the ways to open one's mind and overcome one's limits.
Life's opportunities, through passions and work, have allowed me to visit many cities and places, which I list not as a boast, but to better understand how my art can be influenced by my nomadic lifestyle. Here is a rough list of cherished places that enrich my works: Lugano, San Francisco, Hangzhou, New York, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Lanzarote, Prague, Berlin, Athens, Helsinki, Milano, Granada, San Jose CA, Valencia, Geneva, Bregenz, Venice Beach, Marseille, Innsbruck, Nice, Lecce, London, Genoa, Zurich, San Diego, Origlio, Merano, St. Moritz, Pisa, Los Angeles, Basel, Florence, Turin. These places, among many, have greatly contributed to my art.
Traveling with respect is perhaps one of the goals of life's growth journey. I am an open and curious person, who respects others and always hopes to inspire and engage through my artistic journey.
